In my latest homage to the 'Alien' film genre and H.R.Giger, I have created a sculptured tribute to James Cameron's take on the Giger vision: the 'Alien Queen'. The savage egg-laying matriarch is the pinnacle of all that is bizarre and incongruous about the Biomechanoid attributes of the 'Alien' race. Like the first sighting of the original creature in the first film, she belies the eye with a confusion of ribbed and metallic organic features endowed with an array of incredibly vicious teeth, tubes and piping.

I have sculpted her as a table-top sculpture with Giger-esque features integrated into the flow of the shape as a mark of some artistic licence on my part.

I have been wanting to re-create the 'Alien Queen' in some form for 22 years and now I have finally gone some way to fulfilling this ambition, I have to say that this is probably the most complex piece of sculpting I have ever done in my life. But a labour of intense love, nontheless.

Please note that these are made to order and are very labour intensive to produce from the initial casting and fettling through to the painting and finishing, hence the considerable price, so
